Obituary of Ella Mae Hemphill

Ms. Mae Hemphill, age 70 of Rockwood passed away on Thursday May 16, 2019 at her home.  She was a member of Walk By Faith Church in Lenoir City.  Mae enjoyed cooking, spending time with her grandchildren and her animals.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents:

Four brothers: WT Bryant who died in Vietnam, Leon Bryant, Jr Bryant and Everett Bryant.

Sister: Mary Lankford.

Grandson: Jerry Hemphill.

 

She is survived by her three sons and daughter-in-law: James & Judy Hemphill, Walter & Debbie Hemphill and Scotty Buckner.

Four daughters and son-in-law: Donna & Samuel Todd, Dee Dates, Glenda Hemphill, and Jennifer Bivens.

Four sisters: Linda Warren, Lona Ford, Clara Corum, and Betty Green.

Several Grandchildren

And her great grandson or better known as her “partner in crime”: Luke Todd

 

The family will receive friends on Saturday May 25, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home in Harriman.  The memorial service will follow at 7:00 PM with Bro Boddy Lee officiating.
