Obituary of Dorothy Pickard Miller

Mrs. Dorothy Miller, age 88 of Harriman passed away Sunday September 15, 2019 at her home.  She worked at Burlington and Roane Hosiery.  Dorothy was a member for 55 years of the Harriman Baptist Tabernacle and loved working with ceramics.

She was preceded in death by husband: Clive Miller.

Parents: George and Nina Pickard.

Brother: Mentfer Pickard.

Grandson: Quentin Etter.

She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law: Jimmy & Sherry Miller and Marvin Miller.

Sister: Kay Edmonds.

Three grandchildren: Vallie Miller, Keturah and husband Tyler Eaton, and Nick & wife Jenny Miller.

Seven great grandchildren: Emma, Levi, Mason, JT, Everett, Azzi, and Tyker.

And many nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends Thursday September 19, 2019 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Harriman Baptist Tabernacle in Harriman.  Funeral services will follow at 7:00 PM with Bro. James Jones, Bro. Ed Parton, Bro. Clint Boyer officiating.  Graveside services will be Friday morning September 20, 2019 at 11:00 AM in Roane Memorial Gardens in Rockwood.
