Obituary of Larry Wayne Russell

Mr. Larry Russell, age 72 of Harriman passed away January 2, 2020 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. He was a member of Courts Of Praise Church in Harriman. Larry loved his new recliner and western TV shows. He is preceded in death by his parents: Howard and Ethel Russell. Grandson: Stephen Waldo. Brother: David Russell. Sister: Norma Galyon. Son-in-law: Eric Larson. He is survived by his wife of 51 years: Rosa Lee Solomon Russell. Three daughters and sons-in-law: Jennifer Larson of Savannah, GA, Teresa & Brian Pendergrass of Rockwood, and Rebecca & Melvin Blake of Harriman. Nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and two on the way. Brother: Gary Russell of Rockwood. Sister: Patricia Anderson of Friendsville, TN Two special friends: Homer Julian and Dwayne Poland. And a host of many friends and loved ones. The family will receive friend Monday January 6, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home in Harriman. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 PM with Pastor Nick Hill officiating. Graveside services will be Tuesday January 7, 2020 at 11:00 AM in Rankins Chapel Church Cemetery in Oakdale.
