Obituary of Mary Ann Puckett

Mrs. Mary Ann Fallinger Puckett, age 65 of Oak Ridge, formerly of Middletown, PA, passed away Sunday August 8, 2010 at her home. She was born April 6, 1945 in Harrisburg, PA. Mrs. Puckett lived in Pennsylvania until 1995 when she moved to Tennessee where she later married her husband, Solomon T. Puckett. Along with her husband, she is also survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law: Doree Ann and Kenneth Noland, Debbie Sue and Mark Howerton all of Kingston, Alisia R. Quickel of Virginia. One son: John Quickel of Oak Ridge. Two step-sons and their wives: William and Nancy Puckett of Rockwood, Solomon "Joey" and Linda Puckett of Knoxville. Two sisters and brothers-in-law: Emma And Richard Clarke of Connecticut, Marilyn and Samuel McLenegan of Pennsylvania. One brother and sister-in-law: Leroy and Connie Fallinger of Pennsylvania. Thirteen grandchildren: Leroy Zimmerman, III, Annette Zimmerman, Susan Zimmerman, Dean Pittman, Jessie Arnett, Zachary Arnett, Kian Quickel, Kelan Quickel, Heather Puckett, Donna Torres, Janet Collins, Adam Puckett and Michelle Jenkins. Nine great grandchildren, two nieces and one nephew. Special friends: Judy, Attie and Lisa and a host of other family, friends and loved ones. The family would like to express their gratitude to Amedisys Hospice Nurses, especially Jenny Wright, RN who gave it all to her care. The family will receive friends Saturday August 14, 2010 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 PM with Pastor Tim Hamby officiating. Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Valley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Amedisys Hospice Services 1420 Dutch Valley Road, Suite C Knoxville, TN 37918, Sugar Grove Valley Baptist Church, Building Fund, 2838 Sugar Grove Valley Road, Harriman, TN 37748, the American Cancer Society, 871 N.
