Obituary of Vernon Beasley

Mr. Vernon Beasley, age 78 of Sunbright, passed away Sunday, April 4, 2010 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. He was a veteran of the US Navy. Vernon enjoyed playing golf after retirement and loved his cat Tootsie. He is survived by his wife: Jean Beasley. Two daughters and sons-in-law: Kay & Tom Scandlyn of Knoxville and Leisa & Duane Scott of Deer Lodge. Four grandchildren: Clay Scandlyn, Mandy, Cameren & Julie Scott. One sister: Fern Evans of Corryton, TN. And a host of other nieces, nephews, family, friends and loved ones. Family and friends will meet Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at 2:30 PM at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Deer Lodge for graveside service with Bro. Vic Davis officiating and with full Military Honors. In lieu of flowers donation can be made to the Kidney or Heart Association.
