Obituary of Thomas William Johnson Jr.

Mr. Thomas William Johnson Jr., age 77 of Harriman passed away Saturday July 25, 2015 at the Life Care Center of Morgan County. Mr. Johnson was a veteran of the United States Navy and retired from EIS of Middletown, Connecticut after 35 years of service. He was also a proud member of South Harriman Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents: Thomas William Johnson, Sr. and Pearl Johnson Scott. One son: Stewart Johnson One daughter: Dora Sue Johnson. And one granddaughter: Crystal Johnson He is survived by two sons: Craig and Robert Anthony Johnson Two daughters: Rosetta Smith and Sandra Frazier, all of Oak Ridge One brother: Garland Johnson and his wife Deborah from Athens Three aunts: Ollie Goins and Elizabeth Ewing of Morristown and Barbara Johnson of Rockwood One uncle: Lee Johnson of Knoxville Devoted Caregivers: Marilyn Johnson, Lonetta Goins, and Arlene Goins And a host of grandkids, nieces and nephews, friends, and loved ones. The family will receive friends Thursday July 30, 2015 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM with Rev. Alvin Douglass officiating. Interment will follow in the Johnson Family Cemetery in Harriman.
