Obituary of Darrell Glenn Goddard

Mr. Darrell G. Goddard, age 61 of Harriman passed away Friday September 25, 2015 at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville surrounded by family and friends. He retired from H.U. B. after more than 30 years of faithful service. Darrell was an avid fisherman and his greatest joy in life was spending time in the outdoors with his grandsons. He was preceded in death by his parents: Paul E. “Buster” and Mary Ellen Morgan Goddard. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law: April and J.W. Wilkins, Jr. And two grandsons: Justin and Jacob Wilkins all of Hopkinsville, KY. Two brothers and sisters-in-law: Paul D. “Squeaky” and Betty Anne Goddard and Jerry and Sherron Goddard all of Harriman. One sister and brother-in-law: Paula and Bruce Walker also of Harriman. A special aunt: Frankie Blaylock. Special cousins and long-time friends: Janice Parham, Liz Carriker, Donna Housely, Shelia Stafford and Wendell Loggings. Along with a host of nieces, nephews and other family, friends and loved ones. The family will receive friends Sunday September 27, 2015 from 12:30 to 3:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM. Interment will follow in Willard Park Cemetery. In lieu of flower, donations may be made to the New Willard Park Cemetery Fund P.O. Box 342 Harriman, TN 37748.
