Obituary of Billie Jane Hannah

Mrs. Billie Jane Pogue Hannah, age 82, of Harriman passed away Sunday February 18, 2018 at Harriman Care & Rehab. She also lived in Chattanooga for a number of years as well as Fayetteville, NC for several years. Billie was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for more than 50 years and was active in many chapter activities until health issues prevented her from participating. When she was able, Billie attended South Harriman Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Robert “Bob” W. Hannah.

Her parents: Bill and Pauline Pogue.

And two sisters: Gail Martin and Jean Headden.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: Wayne and Susan Hannah of Chattanooga, and Don and Patti Hannah of Sanford, NC.

Her sister and brother-in-law: Leslie and Paul Yeary of Oakdale.

Her brother and his companion: John Pogue and Frank of Chattanooga.

Along with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family will have a small private memorial service.

In lieu of flowers, a contribution in Billie’s name can be made to the charity of your choice.
