We are so sorry for your loss. We had only just begun talking with Stephen when this happened. He was so friendly and loving to his four legged fosters, boarders, and resident pups. He showed his love for them every time we talked.
We will pray the He gives you peace and the strength to carry on.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Blackwell family (and four pawed family). I am so thankful and heartbroken that we got a chance to meet Stephen in person he was such a kind and gentle soul who loved what he did and it showed in his furbabies. Scout is a pitbull who had no time left in the humane society, Stephen saw something in him and took him in and gave him the time and patience he needed. It shines in how Scout turned out as he is a loving gentle soul just like his Uncle Stephen.
May you find comfort in knowing he not only helped his furbabies but us as well.
Furever changed because of you Stephen, Carol, Sean and Scout Hayes!

Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of Stephen. From the heartfelt posting I read on Facebook, he must have been a truly exceptional human being with a huge heart and a caring, sensitive soul. Anyone who dedicates themselves to caring for people and/or animals is a selfless person whom I cannot help but admire. I will pray for peace for his family, both human and fur babies.
