Obituary of Roger Dale Hicks

Mr. Roger Hicks, age 64 of Harriman, passed away Tuesday February 5, 2019 at Roane Medical Center. He retired from Christmas Lumber Company after many years of service. Roger was a deacon and associate pastor of Lee Village Baptist Church. He loved hunting and fishing and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Oscar and Kathleen Laymance Hicks

Two brothers: Terry and Jerry Hicks

And one sister: Regina Parks

He is survived by his wife: Margie Hicks

Two sons: James and his wife Amanda Hicks and Michael and his wife Tiffany Hicks

Two sisters: Nancy Roberts and Sherrie Tucker

One brother: Richard Hicks

Four grandchildren: Katie, Haden, Brooke and Kaiden Hicks

And a host of other nieces, nephews, friends and family.

The family will receive friends on Thursday February 7, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Lee Village Baptist Church. A memorial service will be held at 8:00 PM with Pastor Matt Cannon officiating.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Lee Village Life Center.
