Obituary of Betty June Davidson
Mrs. Betty Davidson, age 88 of Harriman, passed away Thursday February 7, 2019 at Jamestowne Assisted Living in Kingston. She was a member of the First Christion Church. Betty loved working with flowers, jewelry making, and crafts. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society. God, family and friends were her focus and spreading joy was her passion.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Claude Wesley Davidson.
Parents: Reed & Dovey Leffew.
Brothers: Billy Leffew and Mickey Leffew.
Sister: Pat Williams.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: Gary Davidson & Sandra Cate-Davidson, and Keith & Pamela Davidson.
Three grandchildren: Kelly & husband Tom Scida of New York, Isaac & Cherry Gardner, and Lauren Gardner & Randy Safewright.
Three great grandchildren: Lou and Ella Scida and Nevaeh Gardner.
Sister: Norma Ferrell.
Sister-in-law: Robbie Leffew.
Brother-in-law: Buck Williams.
Along with several nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.
The family would like to thank Caris Hospice and the staff at Jamestowne Assisted Living for their compassionate and attentive care to Betty.
The family will receive friends Sunday February 10, 2019 at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 PM with Pastor Josh Head officiating. Graveside services will be Monday February 11, 2019 at 11:00 AM in Roane Memorial Gardens.
