Obituary of Melvin Dale Blake
Mr. Melvin Dale Blake, age 68, of Harriman, passed away Saturday March 2, 2019 at Turkey Creek Medical Center. He retired from Waste Connections after 36 years. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, watching ‘game shows’ and wrestling.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Melvin & Edna Blake.
Brother: Howard Blake.
He is survived by his wife: Sandra Blake.
Three sons and daughters-in-law: Melvin & Rebecca Blake, Robin Blake, and Christopher & Tiffany Blake.
Daughter and son-in-law: Cindy & Stephen Brackett.
Brother: Keith Blake.
Two sisters: Janet Monola and Shirley Green.
Nine grandchildren: Payton, Michalia, Tyler, Nicholas, Isabella, Kaleb, Adelyn, Isaac, and Eli.
Seven great grandchildren: Jacob, Tyler, Caleb, Riley, Zoey, Zander, Zaxton.
Sister-in-law: Judy Johnson.
Special friends: Charline Ladd and Lee “Flash” Huffaker.
And many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends Tuesday March 5, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home in Harriman. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 PM.
